Attorney-at-Law (Atty.) Alvin Weagar Yelloway is a Liberian Lawyer, Legal Essayist, Columnist, and Community Advocate with over ten (10) years of professional experience implementing development work in Liberia.
Prior to pursuing graduate studies, he worked briefly as Company Attorney at Arcelor Mittal-Liberia. In 2016, he was hired by Checchi and Company Consulting, Inc. on the Legal Professional Development and Anti-Corruption Program, sponsored by United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and seconded to the Liberian National Bar Association (LNBA) as Legal Aid and Continuous Legal Education Manager. He developed the Legal Aid Program and the Continuing Legal Education Program at the LNBA, along with the respective committees of the Bar. He also worked with USAID Advancing Youth Project and USAID Civil Society and Media Leadership Program.
