BRIEF PROFILE
Atty. J. Alben Greaves is a Liberian with over 10 years of experience in Juvenile Justice Administration with demonstrated history in implementing programs on child justice and child protection. Atty. Greaves’ practice of law is mainly focused on criminal law, family law, legal research, labour and litigation, contracts review and drafting, real property and estate. Atty. Greaves has strong ability to analyse statutes, regulations, and cases.
Atty. Greaves currently works with the Ministry of Justice as National Child Justice Coordinator/Prosecutor implementing all child justice programs (Justice for Children) including the Juvenile Diversion Program. He’s accredited with ensuring the drafting of the National Child Justice Strategy, the Child Justice Study, Interdisciplinary Modules, and complete rollout of the Juvenile Diversion Program.
Mr. Greaves Co-Consulted on the drafting of the amendment of the Budget Approval Act of 2018/2019; the stand-alone law on the Management of the National County Social Development Fund; Analysis of the legal and institutional framework for Natural Resources Management in Liberia; Review and Restatement of the Environmental Protection Agency Act; Justice and Security Institutions Accountability Project, etc.
